Punch Bird Lesson
Here Punch is in Training.  He's learning that our lovebirds are not for grabbing.
When just barely a year old a wart-size bump on his hind leg was diagnosed as a mast cell tumor.  Another surgery.  The good news is we found it early, it was a grade one, and it was successfully removed.  The bad news is, boxers are prone to cancer and thus we expect we might be cheated out of more years than the average cancer-prone boxer with this kind of early start.  Not a very good prognosis even if it was successfully removed.

Punch could not drive well with the windshield.  In fact he crashed and broke it.  So to protect his stitches I found some pants for him to wear.  So at a young age Punch begins to wear the pants in the family.  In fact, for the removal of his stitches he wore his fancy pants to the vet.  We have a long history with our vet and he appreciates my warped humor.  Even so, the pants idea was very practical.
